Distance – 30 miles : Difficulty – 2/5
Six riders made the start of this Bank Holiday Sunday ride to the Seawall Cafe. the route took us through Caerwent, along the A48 and up and over Carrow Hill along St. Bride’s Road to Magor. On the main road past the Brewery before turning down the lanes at Wilcrick and onto Bishton Junction and the Queen’s Way. Past Llanwern Steelworks and the big clock and onto Goldcliff and the cafe.
Suitably refreshed thanks to birthday girl Wendy Mumford at the Seawall Tearooms before heading back through the incessant drizzle to Caldicot.
