Choir Riders – R348 Back in the Saddle

Four riders started out from the Choir Hall, the route through Rogiet, a lap of the Country Park, back to Caldicot through the castle, to Portskewett, Black Rock and Sudbrook before heading back to the Choir Hall.

Choir Walkers – W48 St David’s Walk

Sunday, 25th February 2024

Despite the rain, a lovely walk around the lanes near Usk for 15 members, taking in the medieval church of St. David’s. On completion of the walk, a nice Sunday Lunch was had at the New Court Inn in Usk.

There was a collection of donations for the group’s charity for 2024, St David’s Hospice which raised a generous amount of £125 from the walk.

Choir Riders – Redwick Loop

Three cyclists turned-up at the Choir Hall for the latest club cycle ride. The route through Rogiet (including a lap of the parkrun course), Undy, Magor, Llandevenny and Redwick, returning to Mia’s Cafe in Magor for refreshments. The return to Caldicot via the gravel track from Undy.

Choir Walkers – Bridge to Bridge

A lovely walk from the Boer’s Head in Aust, for 14 walkers following the coastal path to Severn Beach. A brief stop at Shirley’s Cafe for coffee, before returning to the Boer’s Head for Sunday lunch.
