Choir Walkers – Caldicot Christmas Lights

A nice walk through the Cornfield, the castle track to see the lights at Caldicot Castle, before returning to Sudbrook and Portskewett for food and drink at the pub.

Choir Walkers – Wet Wetlands

Sunday, 20th October 2024

Seven walkers met outside the Waterloo Inn in Nash for the 5 mile walk around the Newport Wetlands, and it was within 100 yards that the rain poured down, but undeterred, the group continued and was grateful for a pit-stop at the Wetlands Cafe, before finishing the walk to the Waterloo, although soggy, but no more rain.

The day was finished with Sunday Lunch and beer in the pub where we were joined by Rob and Chris Brown.
